MARY Ellen rented a hybrid car, automatic. She did all the driving so the first day there she slept until 2pm.

The view from me and Colleens room. Earlier you could see the big cross on the hill . The sun lit it up as it was rising. It made me think of Dave and his sunrise bible study.

Dave got out of work early yesterday and picked me up at home to take me to Boston. He reminded me to take the most essential things. He was so helpful. He found my dragon costume the night before on the garage. He packed my camera. Bought me a Nikon Z7 book. Got me euros. Gave me cash. I don't know how I would have done it without him.

Charlies birthday is tomirrow April 24. I didnt send him a birthday card but i sent him a letter ladt week. Ill try to write him a burthday card letter today.

Dave told me about and Hunts store in Melrose? Ma and asked if I wanted to drive down. It wasxa rainy non photo drive kinda Sunday so it seemed like a good idea. We picked up another shoe for the tripod. They had to look up our purchase from Manchester to find the right model but they had one. We also looked at some macro lenses. The add on Nikon lenses made for the Z model camera do seem to be more sharp but they should be at almost $900 a lense or more. It costs $24 a day to rent one which wouldn't be a big deal to rent one or two different lenses for an event but not for Ireland. Maybe when I get back we can try a couple out for a day or two. Dave also got a bubble level and a Z7 book for me. Man it's bigger than the Excel book I used in college. The z7 camera is a machine! Mini computer! I wonder if I will ever master it.

I can't remember when I bought myself new shoes. Today I got cowboy boots AND sketches and I'm elated. I also got sketchers

I now have two profiles on linked in and I can't get into my original one which listed all my experience in security.

MICHAEL my son 10 years ago. We went to the Finger Lakes in NY. We went to see many waterfalls. It was a trip he had already planned and paid for to go with Michelle. But they broke up before the trip so he asked me to go.

Yesterday Dave told me to go to Florida without him and he'd watch the dogs.  I can't imagine going to Florida without him. He said it's not going to be fun for him. So I really dontbkniw what I'm going to do at this point. I don't even like going to Ireland without him.

Shane's radiator broke so he has to come home this week gor work.  I'm looking forward to spending time with him.

Who knew? Claiming season is from beginning of spring for 6 weeks.

It's going to rain today so I thought the skies would be red. I woke Dave up for possible sunrise pictures. Instead it was cloud covered and gray but I got a good picture of Dave taking pictures with tripod of ducks in Rye.

Tis morning Crysta said I could come over between 9 and 11 but she was trying to juggle getting ready for May's birthday sleepover. Shescsweetc16. Mac also had soccer camp. The house is in reconstruction mode. So I offered to help pack and move stuff from apartment like mom helped me move. I went to her apartment by myself after Dave went to work. I borrowed his truck and picked up thr big Adirondack chairs and yellow table. I also took as much stuff as I could load. It brought me so much jot yo help. I took it to Crystas as she was making breakfast. She didn't have any silverware there. She made me 2 eggs and I ate with a measuring spoon. Itcwas funny. They ate sandwiches but I'm cutting back on bread. We picked up and swept. Then she had to take Mac to practice so I went back to the apartment and packed up half of her kitchen.  The first box I used wasn't taped and started to fall through bottom as I carried down the stairs but I managed to get into truck sideways. I

Last night after taking beds over we took May to Eadtern Paradise or Quisine.

NEW home, 1st night. I took the truck to her apartment after-work to transport beds to new place.

We went out to Granite Steak. I omlu ate half of a light portion of steak tips rice pilaf and peas but it was delicious

Today i walked to Butternut Farm. It was 77 degrees and half uphill but im so proud of myself for doing it! 

Dwayne Cummins passed away. We became friends around 1981.  He was a good friend from Wheeling WV He was always the friend i went to when feeling down. Or after a breakup. We were never romantically involved but he loved my family like his own. He came to see us in New England I think in 2015 or 16. We went to Boston and Portmouth, Hampton Beach and a pontoon boat ride with my friend Lisa. I didn't know what happened so the Jebbia Manager called me to say he was sick on a unday so called out of work. Dwayne has never called out. On Monday he didn't call and didn't show up so the manager called police for a welfare check and found him deceased. He had a heart attack a couple years ago and needed a by pass but never got it.

Colleen called last night to give me an update on her travels. She bought her ticket to Boston for the Thursday before her trip and asked me to take a bus down and join her  and stay a night in Boston before flying to Ireland. Maryellenis her friend that is going with us I think. She's flying in on Friday. Our flight to Ireland isn't until like 9.  Maybe I can show her Harvard museums or something but we won't have transportation. I'll try to book a hotel night in Dublin for the night before our flight out. She has been learning to speak Irish with babble, a phone ap. I haven't tried. We both want to go to Inisheer,one of the Aran Islands. She doesn't want to take a boat so I guess we'll hop a flight. I don't know or haven't made other plans. Covid vaccination card or tests no longer needed. I'll have to try to remember my wild Atlantic way passport, my adapter for power, oh I already forgot what other things I was thinking about. When I first got my Lark scale I weighed 228. This morning I'm at 220. Yesterday I stayed on treadmill 32 minutes for my mile and a half. I jogged just a little bit.Mostly fast walked. I'm not anywhere near in shape but this was an accomplishment for me. The day was over 5000 steps. I should put my goal higher now. My goal was also 3x per week but experts say I should do 30 mins a day. I'm not there yet  Maybe bump up to 4 or 5 x per week. I drank a gallon of water yesterday too.i ate mostly fruits and veggies. I'm drinking fiber water which seems to help with appetite. I'm taking vitamins and glucosamine to help with joints. Only my hip hurt on the treadmill. I'm little by little trying to have Dave join me. He's working this Saturday but maybe Sunday shoot for another seacoast walk!

I was supposed to see Shsy yesterday to give her nons things and take her to dinner at Applebee's. I drove to Applebee's in Portsmouth and right before we are supposed to meet I texted her to see if she was already inside. She texted back she forgot and Shay is sick so had to reschedule. 

Chelsey called me Saturday before Easter. I'm supposed to meet up with her and Shay on Tuedday at 5 at Applebee's. I'm going to give her some stuff from Non. She said she's moving in with Mike her boss to East Kingstin. I don't know address yer.

These were my visitors for Easter breakfast. Faith Shane and Jess. Shane and Jess brought me some bulbs to plant. Dahlias. I m looking forward to warmer weather. We sat outside afterwards and talked and played with the dogs. Faith graduates soon. Then 4 years at UNH She said after that shes hoping to move to Gainsville FL for grad school to work with exotics. Reptiles. Donny has contacts for work there. Shane has his job bavk at custom pools. Praying for his soberness.

I didnt dye eggs til Easter morning so i took a shortcut. I took food coloring put it on a paper towel and rolled or wiped the egg with it. My fingers got a little messy but worth it.

Dave and I have known wach other 6 years and 8 months. He said Happy Anniversary to me today! That was sweet. He also gave me $100 to get Easter breakfast food for tomorrow. And plants. 

I started Lark with fitbut March 22. So far I've lost 6 pounds. It's mostly due to drinking more water, logging my meals and moving a little more but I'm not even up to exercising or walking 5 days a week yet.  I don't plan on gaining weight ever again. It's really hard to lose. I have trouble mostly at night when Dave and I sit down to watch TV. I'm not eating as much bread. I'm not drinking as much alcohol. I'm trying to eat more fruit and vegetables and get more fiber in my diet. I eat more small things throughout the day.kiwi. celery. Carrots. Raw tuna. Cream of wheat. Rice. Kidney beans. You get it. It's an overall approach. If I can fit 10 jumpingjacks or windmills in I do.  Lark isn't as good as noom, but it's free. Because I'm pre-diabetic.  Obese. My insurance would rather pay for a scale then weight related hospital stays! Now if I could only get them to pay for the $69 works membership!

Teresa is on Instagram. My neice Paula and Joe's youngest daughter. She sent me a song on March 27 from church. I received it today. A reminder to stay in touch with God. Even on this dark moment of good Friday I know my redeemer will be risen.

Telling Mom's story. Mom and Dad used to take me to the Easter egg hunts at Wheeling Park.Dad would also take a blanket and they would lay on the hill by the entrance road.  We would stay at the park awhile and then go to breakfast.t One of the things Mom liked to do was blow out eggs and then paint or decorate them and put them on a big branch the set up in a bucket or crock to look likeca tree. To have a hollow egg she put pin holes in each end of the raw egg. Blow it out. Then put string through it put a bead on the end so the egg wouldn't fall off the string. We would make scrambled eggs after. Maybe I'll try to do one this year to take a picture.

Wasn't needed at Exeter Hospital again last night.

I did it again. I signed up for shifts but was not needed. What a waste of my time. Sleeping to prepare and not get it. Fir the  150 I could make. I could have done so much with my time. I gate wasting tine.

I don't know if I'm tired because I'm not sleeping or eating right or because I started walking again.  I'm so tired. We walked the Great Bay estuary and Herons point Sunday.

I'm trying to get ready for church at St Joes.  I'm not moving very fast and saddens me I have to go alone.

I've really wanted to buy a house my whole life. But early on when I got married and moved to NH. I was 19. Chris was in the Air Force stationed AR Pease. We got married so quick so we could get off base housing. We lived at Indigo Hill Rd Apartments in Somersworth. 1983. When he got out in 85 and then a job in Epping in 86 we moved to an apartment in a house. We didn't have money to get a house. We started a family and had to move to Lee because our apartment was too small when I was pregnant with Shane Dorothy Hsll, our landlord, said we had to move. We rented the house at 292 Calef Highway where we stayed until around 2000 I think but I'm not sure. From there we moved to Dover and by then working at UNH. Still Renting. Then divorced.  In 2009. I couldn't buy a house on my own with 4 kids and mom to support. I was making good money but had poor credit. I got the loans for Michael to go to St Anslem and Crysta to go to Qinipiac. I went back to college too whole working

I woke up to snow. This is out my bedroom window. Dave and i are both off today. Last night he mentioned jyst sitting around today while we would have thunderstorms outside. So it might warm up and rain. Im going to work on editing photos from Connys party. Hopefully we can get out to dtop off a bag for Goodwill and buy dog and cat food. My trip with Colleen to Ireland is in 3 weeks. I dont have the money for it so maybe ill try to pick up extra shifts at Exeter Hospital to watch psych patients. I always get so exhausted when i do that. I used to sell things like Mom did when i needed money but im not sure what i have to sell.  Ill try to think of what else to do this weekend to make money. Colleen Ray zac and kids Ron and shirl and i think jess and jerry are all going to be in Virginia this week and i feel like im missing out. I have to be selective about time off. We still dont know when we are going to see Charlie or go to West Virginia. I'm going to make popovers this am. I hav
