My follow up appt for my ganglion cyst on elbow was yesterday with Jessica Peelman. She said the cyst would not have caused arm numbness. The cyst is going down so she focused on my right wrist which is swollen and painful.  She took an xray and did more labs.Xray revealed severe arthritis, bone on bone in middle and bone spurs. The lab tests will reveal if rheumatoid arthritis. If not, then we will try cortisone shots. She also ordered another MRI The last scenario would be to fuse the bones together. I would not be able to move my wrist, but I wouldn't have pain anymore. I'd rather have the pain right now.

The Dover and Newburyport Christmas Parades are today. Will I get to go?

I got up several times throughout the night, tossing and turning. When Daves alarm went off I finally got out of bed. Dave said it was Saturday I need to stay sleeping. The dogs and cats didn't know it was Saturday so they were prancing around for me to let them out and feed them. I took the pumpkin roll that still needed frosting out of the fridge made the cream cheese frosting and cut the end off for Dave. Dave got up for Bible study on the radio. I wrapped the remaining roll and put back in fridge. Took care if dogs in out food water out. Fed the cats and cut up the cooked turkey inner parts and mixed in their food. Andy loved that. I packed Dave's lunch. Turkey pit pie. Daily peanut butter and jelly. A pear. A piece of roll. Nutty buddy. Salty nut bar. I wrote 4 Christmas cards and gave them to Dave to mail out. Dave wasn't invited to Crystas Thanksgiving. So Dave will be home cooking our turkey in the charcoal roaster I've never had one done that way. Anyway, the damage is done. Dave's feelings were hurt. For the past 7 years, Crysta was like a daughter to him. Crysta and Faith were the only daughters he will ever have. He's helped her move, landed his truck, helped build her first house. Picked flowers for her wedding. All the tables and bouquets. Helped set up and take down. When she worked at the farm we cut our first Christmas down with her. She toasted at our wedding. So this is all hurtful to him.

We got our tree at the Conley Farm, Meaderboro Rd Farmington NH. Last year trees were $50. This year $70 Dave jokingly says we arent getting a tree every year, and i seriously say back yes we are, even if I have to get it myself. Growing up we didnt always have money to buy a tree. In those instances we would go to Grandma and Grandpaps at 125 Incline  Ave Wheeling WV and cut one down. Mom also cut a regular tree branch and put up in a crock pot. She called it her Charlie Brown tree.  She made cookies and wrapped in pladtic then tied a ribbon at the top to hang them, along with any other goodies she could find. I might do that too this year. If i do i will post a picture. I asked Crysta what she wanted me to bring to Thanksgiving. She said pumpkin pie and potatoes. I have to buy pumpkin because all they had at Aldis was the pumpkin pie mix. 

Yesterday after work I put the Christmas music on and made cookies. I was dancing and singing along in the kitchen.

I put Moms tree up in Daves radio room today. I also added lights to his fireman mug collection.

I got up at 0430 to take shane to get his car in Exeter so he could ho to work.I really didn't sleep much though. I'm taking note that I didn't gave any alcohol to drink yesterday. I have been drinking a little everyday and it's effecting my health. So kudos to me! Yesterday was day 1 on the books.

I called out sick yesterday, exhausted. Still with a cheek and jaw that felt like I I had a shot of novacain and starting to wear off. I slept in with Ruby laying next to me on the floor. When I finally got up 4 hours later than normal I took an hour long bath and put on some nice clothes and boots to go to doctors and have blood drawn I took Shane with me. The first stop was Labcorp in Rochester. Why have I never gone there before? The place was nearly deserted, clean, no wait self check in. Plenty of parking. No pain. Cheaper and closer than Epping. Then we drove to Reds so he could get his Carolina boots. They were a 10.5 wide he says feels great. $159. But I used Dave's rewards program so next time Dave gets something there he will have $15.00 off. Then I took Shane home and went to a doctor appointment at 1 Hampton Rd Exeter. CoRE's new office. I was a little early but the place was super easy to find. My appointment was with Molly Viens, APRN. That's the trend now. No

He was planning on coming home after work and we were going to do something together. Instead I had a numb face and pain behind ear. My BP was elevated. He called and I picked him up from custom pools and went to Exeter ER. I was there til 1am. Ct and ekg ok. Lyme test negative. But BP was 180/112. Definitely a red flag. Will follow up with PCP. I got shane a cool tree color rabbit lined Bomber Hat from Dover Marine. A photo book from Walgreens. Socks with a hidden pocket. Skull and shire pipe.balsalm fir candle and card.

Veterans Day.  Dave and I had breakfast at home. Our own chicken eggs. We played a game or two of Mario and headed out around noon. We went to Dover Marine to exchange a pump he needed to finish winterizing the boat. We went to Goodwill so I could donate a bag of clothes. I also bought a painting of a heron for the bathroom. It's one of my favorite birds. I bought 2 pair of pants, a hot air balloon painted on a wood circle, and a unique flower vase. I called Colleen 3 times at least, and wrote letters to Marlene Stobbs, maiden name Thomas one of my best friends from Wheeling Island. I sent her mom's obituary. I wrote a letter to Colleen on moon stationary, and Teresa on a B card. For Barbie, because she loved the Barbie movie so much. Dave and I watched some TV but we really weren't into it. Around 6 we went outside and he took pictures of the satellites launching. It was a cold evening out in the cornfields and I brought him a coat. We had a nice fire outside. The police w

When my kids are struggling. To get ahead. To get along with each other. When they are judgemental. When they are nit kind. When they aren't shown kindness. I also suffer.

Why can't people show more kindness? Especially those who say they are Christians, believ in God, in Jesus. Say they follow his word and read it almost daily? Did Jesus call people names? Didn't he say feed the hungry? Shelter the homeless?

Yesterday was pretty amazing. I thought Dave was going to winterize boat, so I settled in living room and then got in bath, getting ready for a day of cross stitch or reading or some other keep busy inside activity. But he said, "We're going out. I gotta get some things" We went to Dover Marine. He got earphones that go over water intake on boat. I had no idea. I asked if it was because it was noisy. He laughed. They go on the boat not his ears Strange name, I thought to myself. After that we went for breakfast. The big restaurant I think it's called Tuckermans but I'm not sure, next to Dover Marine, was a 45 minute wait. The heck with that! We went to Strafford Farms and I got a veggie omelet. I only ate half of it. Dave got eggs potatoes sausage. We both got onion bagels. I opted out of cream cheese then stole some of his. Dave under the weather. A cold, he thinks but he sounds horrible.
