Busy Weekend

On Saturday I made delicious pancakes eggs and bacon for Dave and Shane.

(YES I ATE THEM TOO)

Dave and I decided to get a pickup load from the storage unit to make headway on clearing it out.

After 1 trip Dave asked if I just wanted to get a uhaul and clear it out.

It was a spontaneous decision. If you asked either of us on Friday we would have said it couldn't be done.

Around 3pm we rented a 15 foot Uhaul In Rochester. Spent 2 hours hustling and emptying the storage unit and then packed in front of the garage.

We set the alarm for 230 am Sunday and went to Nubble Lighthouse with the Greater Rochester Camera Club. 

Dave used the Z to capture the milky way and starlink satellites.

We went home after sunrise took a nap til 1030 then got up to empty uhaul.

It took about an hour for us to make space in garage then another two hours or so to empty the truck.

I know it's going to take a few months at least to go through the stuff or even pack disintegrated boxes into plastic bins.

I have to try. Every time I start to get overwhelmed. I think about all the progress I made.

It starts with ONE box.

It's not really all my stuff.

I found bibs of toys. Baby clothes.craft stuff books.

I saved the stuff thinking my grandkids would be thrilled to have it someday.

Now it looks like the only grandchild I will ever have is Shay. I don't get to see Shay because Chelsey doesn't want me to.

It's so sad.

Back to the stuff.
