Leap of Faith

10 days on Leap of Faith...In search of the light. It may take me a long time to write this book. But it will happen. When you are on a Bayliner for 10 days with no dinghy you learn so much about love, and communication. Rolling with the punches an throwing plans overboard. You learn about socialization. Etiquette. The real world. What difference "knowing a guy" can make. I learned more about patience. And taking that leap into the cold water. I survived. I think more than that my husband and I have pretty much sealed the deal now more than ever...

fabulous day

Yesterday I walked 1.88 miles up to poor farm road. I noticed the flower stand was open and looked inside. They are only open on Friday and Saturdays. I picked out 2 water color cards from a local artist and a small Mason jar of purple and pink flowers picked at their farm this morning. I especially loved  the way they set everything up with antiques. I walked back home to drive back with wallet. I tried using my gift card from CORE but it wouldn't work because their square didn't register the cv code. So I called Dave to transfer money from my savings to get them. Then I went to Barnes and Noble my favorite store. I found a gift for Dave, a lap desk with mouse pad and phone holder. Then I found a corner full of sticker books. I think I spent an hour looking through different ones before settling on antique design stickers. I was excited like a child at Christmas.  I also bought an Atlas for our upcoming Florida trip. After going home I used the lap des...

is something wrong with my scale

Whe o started tracking weight I wasc228 pounds. I started Lark. Then when I wasn't getting results or intelligent info on May 29 I started noom. My weight today 205.6. I'm questioning it's accuracy because all of a sudden it started showing 3 lb weight loss days.  I decided even if it's wrong it's motivating me to keep going in my weight loss journey. I'm moving more. I'm trying to get more steps in everyday. My goal is 10000 steps a day. Right now sometimes I make 5000. One day I almost made 6000 this past week. It's just a mindset. I asked Mike zomcick how he lost so much weight. His answer was simple. Walk 5 miles a day and stop eating out. It's not that simple. But since it's Saturday and I'm off work with Dave. I'm really going to try to get that 10000k steps in, and when I do ill post a photo as a reminder! Yes, I CAN

6 years 10 months

Yesterday was the Anniversary of when me and Dave met. The monthly anniversary.  Instead of going out he brought steaks home and I made the cherry pie. But then we watched TV. Tried a new series called  The Recruit. I wrote him a letter in our journal. On a positive note I made my 5000 step goal on noom. My scale says I weigh 203.8. I think it's wrong but I'll go with it.i don't think I lost that much weight even though I work at it every day. I even did some situps yesterday. In between calls I was also pacing the living room floor to get my steps in.

Focus244

Dave met me at Focus 244 and brought me wine. He was so sweet. I mingled and he did some but then sat while I introduced myself around the gallery. Dave's favorite picture was of a pair of puffins on metal.  .My favorite was of Spring lighthouse in the snow. Stunning simple photo with not too much editing. 8 like most of Corey Cains work. I'll have do submit photos not so heavily framed next time. Maybe on Acrylic for some of my colored ones. My Monhegan is on a panel on the bottom near the last section of the gallery. Too heavy to put on top.  I have a lot of work to do.

This letter and $100 was a nice gesture!

His whole life

Dave told me I am his whole life. I don't think that is the case. But he may have said it because I have so many social networks and family and friends. He has family too, and his work group, radio friends. Church group.  He has a few people t hat are close friends. He's just not on Facebook. Twitter, or any other social media.

Church if the Holy Rosary

Mercy has asked me to provide cheese and pepperoni for a funeral today. I bought the stuff last night I just have to get up and put the tray together. I do it because they asked. It will comfort the family of the deceased I don't even know who he is.  That's the beauty of it. I'm paying it forward. Surely plenty of people have helped me along the way. Dave is going to take over for me on his way to work. The church gave me the code for the door.

I had to go reframe the ship photos yesterday. Dave went with me and we met up with Shannon Culpepper. She asked to use one of my photos for marketing!
