unorganized
You call me unorganized. My mind thinks differently than yours. Are you my audience or my crew?
My audience only sees the final production, the final craft, the final book, the polished photograph. The crew sees the individual parts. Is a part of the process. UNDERSTANDS.
The audience sees organization. The crew sees the scattered parts of the parts. The single musicians before they become the orchestra. The drafts before they become the book. The stitches or pieces of a quilt layed separately across a table before sewn together.
The audience sees the graduate. The crew sees the blood sweat and tears it took to get them there.
If all you see are my unfinished projects and calling me unorganized then you are failing to see the numerous projects and accomplishments like a crew sees and celebrates! You dont understand the organization of my process.
You only want to be my audience.
I let you behind the curtain of my shows. You got to see the parts of the parts. You became frustrated with the process.
Yes I have unfinished projects. Yet I have so many more that have been completed.
What have you done? Have you even begun?
With my unorganized mind I finished 2 college degrees.
While raising and supporting 4 children and my mother. While working 2 jobs.
I have held high positions in the professional world.
I have had art exhibits, made quilts, written books of poetry.i have more finished projects than unfinished ones.
I still find time to volunteer. To raise money for organizations through fundraisers.
I've written and organized training manuals.
Still,
I can complete a dinner so it's all done at the same time.
Yes I still have a sense of humor.
After all, I'm an unorganized super human. Mess.
