I took Colleen to the thrift store in Bartington. The first shelf I looked on had the cutest candleholder. Colleen came over to see as I turned one over to see where it was made. WeBB Connemara! 2 of them fir 4.50! On the very day we were supposed to be IN Connemara!
Our Canadian friends gave us a heated mattress pad for Christmas 2022. They swear by it, turning it on an hour before bedtime. Though I was initially skeptical, Leslie & I have fallen in love with ours as well!
ReplyDeleteInstead of hot baths, I recommend a spa/hot tub! As I always tell people, "ours is more medicinal than recreational"! Leslie likes nothing better than to take a quick dip before bedtime. And the heated mattress pad has helped her feet get warm quickly when she does turn in.
