Maureen Agatha's Dash

Yesterday Shane and I took Crysta the Taylor guitar, her middle school signed guitar, the planter from mom's funeral and her middle school book she put together. I found it in a box in the garage. The book was full of her projects and pictures and signed homework pages by mom, me, and Chris. I thought it was very fitting to give to her today since it was her first day as a teacher at Farmington Middle Schiol. Mom did a program there once. Shane also commented on the cool sculptures at her house I said Jesse made those. His comment was NOW IT MAKES SENSE.

Faith thought getting together yesterday was just going to be me and her.  I thought it was her birthday celebration, which I've always celebrated with family. I got up early and made a pumpkin roll for her. One of her favorites. Dave and I went to bank. I gave her 100 in a UNH card Keychain along with a UNH Hoodia, shirt, and dog bandana. I also gave her a candle from Florida, a jar of blackberry jam from Aunt Colleen, and a pair of earrings mom made in a card that she painted. We all had lunch at Portsmouth Gaslight and walked to Prescott Park. Me Dave Faith Bigny crysta Jesse, shane and Jess. Faith had a horrible day.  She wasn't expecting everyone else. We took too long at restaurant and she couldn't find her car in garage to go home. Here's a couple pics.

Crysta wanted to buy the Rebel motorcycle that Michael bought me for mother's day when he was 18. I said no, of course but went to Farmington Town Hall to register it so she could ride it.it only cost $33. She didn't offer up her news until I asked. How did the appraisal go? Did you get the job at Farmington school? I'm happy to post the house now belongs to her and Jesse, and she starts her new job teaching August 28.

Last night Dave took me to BGs Boat House for steamers, my new favorite food, and a salad.  We also got shrimp cocktail and fried mushrooms. I tried a spicy margaritas with Ghost tequila. Delicious too. Dave also drove me around the seacoast so I could take a couple photos. The fog was coming in. It's a gift to watch when you aren't out boating in it.

Today we went Mini golfing and had icecream. 

Today was Donna and Petes 40th Wedding Anniversary.  Last night was thecAnniversary of me and Daves first datevat Gossport so he took me out there just for the night and brought me back in time to go to her party. It was also Zanders 16th birthday, Shawnsv42nd and Dianes second. Dave let me usevhis credit card to get gifts. I got Donna and Pete a fire pitbto keep the fire going. Diane a furry backpack and cute 4 pievt outfitvwith Minnie Mouse, a text for Zander andca remotevplane for Shawn. I thoughtbitcwas a dry party but Donna gave me the strawberry winecoolers she didnt like.

Last night Dave said, "you're turning 60  this year. I said yeah. He ssked"Doesnt that bother you?' I said no, does it bother you?.he said I'm not the one turning 60. So my take on this is, none of us are  here forever. The sooner you realize this the better quality of life you will have. I have done the best I could with what I had. I have loved  I am loved I

We haven't been out on the boat all summer I am so excited we are going TODAY It's a lot of work for Dave so I have to let him know how much I appreciate it. He said it's a lot of work just to have to winterize again. I don't even know where we are going, but it will be worth it

I took 4 canvas prints to the gallery yesterday . Lost in the mountains, Ballynahinch, ballynahinch fishing and pirate queen castle. I brought home my 4 lighthouse pictures and will probably start to put on daves wall in his radio room. Dave made dinner while I was on my way home. I weigh 177 this am. My scale was saying 164 at one point but I think it's batteries were low. I'm trying to celebrate by weight loss since I weighed 200 on July 4. I've also tried the photo pounding thing.  from moms celebration of life flowers. Oh yea I dyed my hair yesterday.
